There are a lot of marking on the under side of the barrel that I haven't seen on other Lugers. Where the barrel meets the frame on the under side are the numbers 8.83, immediately down the barrel from that is the small cursive "d", then the serial 4194. Just beyond the serial, is a stamp I can't identify, but the letters "NP" clearly stamped ...
